“Workshop Nanotechnology and Energy Efficient Buildings”, 20 June 2013, Dublin
During the EuroNanoForum 2013 conference a workshop on “Nanotechnology and Energy Efficient Buildings” will take place on June 20th 2013. This workshop is organised by NANO-E2B-CLUSTER.
The NANO-E2B-CLUSTER comprises of six projects funded under the working topic of “new nanotechnology-based high performance insulation systems for energy efficiency”. With a total budget of 24.2 million euros (funded 16,9 million euros), the NANO-E2B-CLUSTER include: 11 Large Enterprises and 16 Small Medium Enterprises,17 Research and technological organizations and 5 Universities. The NANO-E2B-CLUSTER uses NANOTECHNOLOGY as a Key technology in order to develop high-performance insulation materials to significantly enhance the energy efficiency of buildings.
The workshop aims to merge together cutting-edge technologies and materials for energy efficiency in building construction and building management. Progress on R&D funded projects under FP7 Framework will be presented (nanotechnology and energy efficient buildings). The showcased projects are wide and varied, ranging from cost-effective super-insulating materials, multifunctional vacum-insulating panels using nanotechnology to intelligent energy-management systems.
The program is available in the EuroNanoForum 2013 webpage.
