“Standardisation Workshop and Introduction to European Technical Assessment”, 6 November 2015, Brussels
On 6 November in Brussels, a 2-session event on standardization and European Technical Assessment will be organised in the framework of the AMANAC & EeB-CA2 Coordinated and Support Actions, to support EeB PP projects on their exploitation activities.
The objective of the morning session, organised by AMANAC, consists in facilitating the discussion between key personnel from the various AMANAC projects and companies and institutes involved in standards and certifications.
The main focus will be the perspective of end-users on the challenges of standardisation and certification. The discussions will give insights into standards and requirements for buildings in Europe, and provide detailed information on certification, testing and CE marking for construction products. Various experts from industry will share their knowledge and be open for discussion in the frame of this workshop.
The objective of the afternoon training session, organised by EeB-CA2, is to give an introduction to the European Technical Assessment (ETA). The training is tailored to coordinators and partners of EeB PPP projects, where current strategic considerations for laying the ground for successful further development and market uptake of project results may include a CE-mark in the near future. Typically, such project results are stated with TRL 6-7. The training is also open for other participants who wish to receive an overview of the ETA. Two EOTA trainers will conduct this intensive and interactive seminar. The number of participants is limited to 15.
Both sessions are organised at BIP For Rent, Rue Royale 2-4, 1000 Brussels.
