“Re-Industrialisation of the EU 2016”, Bratislava, 26 – 28 October 2016

The international conference REinEU2016 is a prestigious event in the field of nanotechnologies, advanced materials and manufacturing technologies and it will be organised in Slovakia in October 2016 under the auspices of the Slovakian presidency to the EU Council. Its aim is to emphasize and discuss the role of science, research and innovation in the sustainable development of European economy in general and the implementation of reindustrialisation of Europe, meaning increasing the manufacturing sectors’ share in EU’s GDP from the current 16% to 20% in 2020, as set in the communiqué of the European Union “For a European Industrial Renaissance”.

The AMBASSADOR project will be presented within the conference exhibition in AMIRES booth. In the stand, poster, leaflets, presentation and video will be at disposal. The AMBASSADOR project coordinator Alfredo Samperio will also give a contribution in the session Intelligent buildings and Smart cities with the focus on major objectives and results of the AMBASSADOR project, with additional information on the business perspective for future Eco Districts.
